How a New Member Built 5 lbs of Muscle While Burning 8 lb of Body Fat

So, what did O achieve already and how did she do it?

She put on 5 pounds of muscle AND dropped 8 pounds of body fat in her first 90 days at CrossFit Reverb.

She did it by listening to her coach and making exercise and nutrition part of her new lifestyle.

Coaching:

  • O booked a No Sweat Intro meeting to discuss her fitness goals, then followed the recommendation and chose the program that was right for her.
  • O attended her 90-day Goal Review with her coach, got an updated InBody body composition analysis, and knows what to focus on next. 

Exercise:

  • O completed the Reverb On Ramp program which teaches the fundamentals, proper technique, and prepares new members mentally and physically for CrossFit.
  • O consistently attended CrossFit class 2-3 times a week.

Nutrition:

  • O used the Reverb Grocery Guide to make simple changes to her nutrition such as reducing alcohol, sugar, and processed carbs and increasing nutritious whole foods.

O’s results are just getting started because the nutrition changes she’s making are part of her routine now and she’s having a blast training with the Reverb community.  Let’s see what she does in her next 90 days!
