FAQ Friday – Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?

The short answer is no! You do CrossFit to become fit, not the other way around.

If you were lagging behind in algebra class, would you wait until you improved on your own before hiring a tutor?

If you had a joint injury hindering your activity, would you wait until it improves before seeing a physical therapist?

The obvious answer is no; you would seek out the expert to help you make progress as fast as possible.

If you want to improve your health and fitness, regardless of where you’re currently at, the best place to START is with the program consistently shown to produce the most effective, well-rounded fitness results: CrossFit.

At CrossFit Reverb, you’ll start in our OnRamp program where our expert coaches teach you the fundamental movement patterns you’ll see throughout your CrossFit training, how to do them safely and correctly, and modifications and scaled versions specific to YOU to make sure you’re training at the right level to maximize progress.  

You’ll be physically and mentally prepared before continuing your training with group class sessions, personal training sessions, or a mix of both. Along the way we’ll help you with nutrition to make sure you’re fueling your body for high performance in and out of the gym.
