Happy New Year and Happy January! This month we’re preparing for the 2025 CrossFit Open with benchmark past Open and Regional workouts, heavy days sprinkled in along with conditioning workouts.
This week we have the CrossFit Total to establish a baseline, and later in the month we’ll be testing back squat, snatch, and working on overhead squat skill work in preparation for the Open.
Holiday schedule this week:
Tues, 12/31: no 6:45pm class
Weds, 1/1: only 11am class
Monday – Hang power cleans, push jerks, burpees, pull-ups
Tuesday – Skill/strength: rope climbs; running, push-ups, and db overhead lunges
Wednesday – Heavy Day: CrossFit Total
Thursday – Strength: push press; double-unders and thrusters
Friday – Toes-to-bar, db hang clean + jerk, rowing
Saturday – Partner box jump overs, power snatch, overhead squat, sit-ups, and air bike
