What’s better than dramatically reducing your daily level of physical pain?  Not much!!

DJ’s constant back and knee pain has gone from level 7-8 down to level 2-3 thanks to his training at Reverb which has added strength and muscle mass around the joints in his body, while reinforcing good technique in his movements. 

Now he’s sleeping better and feeling better.

What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?

A lot of at home workouts. Push-ups, sit-ups, some basketball.

What was the problem you wanted to solve that made you want to join Reverb?

I had a fractured knee and lower back issues that I wanted to improve. 

What kind of changes have you seen?

It’s been a little over a year and the results have been better than I expected! I’m sleeping better, I’m keeping up in the workouts, and I’m mentally more clear. 

My lower back was a constant nagging pain throughout the day including whenever I moved. Constant level 7 pain. Now it’s down to about a 2. 

My knee was also hurting constantly at level 8. I still have to use my knee every day and now it’s down to a level 3-4! 

How else has it impacted your personal life?

I’ve had to buy all new clothes because I’m fitting my clothes a lot better!

What is it about Reverb that has helped you?

The technique progressions that make improvements in my technique before we even start the workout.  I feel the difference during the workout thanks to the coaches watching and finding little changes. 

What would you tell someone interested but scared to get started?

I’d say come in. There’s always a scaled version of the workout and the coaches will make sure you’re doing it in a proper way where you’re not aggravating injuries.  Even if you have slight pain they’re going to give you a modification to work around that issue!
