
Louie has gained 4 pounds of muscle while losing 14 pounds of body fat since he joined Reverb last August.
Let’s hear from him how that feels!
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
Not much, mainly some hiking.
How long, and what kind of changes have you seen?
It’s been 9 months. When I came here, I had no clue what I was doing. But with great coaching and guidance I’ve learned how to lift with proper technique.
I’ve cut back a lot on my drinking, and I’m making sure I’m eating the right foods now. I’ve cut back on sugar and changed my mindset a lot overall.
Before, my knee would lock up if I tried to squat, and I didn’t have energy for running. Now I can do those things easily after training here.
I’ve seen physical and mental improvement in myself and overall it has been a life changing experience for me.
How else has it impacted your personal life?
I get a lot of compliments from family and friends telling me I look like I’m in great shape!
What would you tell someone interested but scared to get started?
If I can do it, anybody can. I was scared of coming here because I heard stories of how intense it can get. It’s really not that bad! It’s a workout and at the end of the day you’ll see results!

Louie approaches each class with an open mind and keeps his focus on moving with good form.
He’s very consistent in hitting his 3 group class sessions per week.
