Spotlight Saturday: Leslie N!

“Sometimes you just have to do it and you’ll end up enjoying it.”

Leslie has put on almost 3 pounds of muscle in her first 3 months at Reverb.

Let’s hear from her about how that feels!


What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?

Not too much. I would try to go to the gym but I wasn’t very consistent and I didn’t have discipline.  I didn’t have anyone checking up on me.  When I went to the gym I didn’t really know what to do other than some arm exercises. 

I noticed I was doing everything incorrectly at the gym and here at Reverb the coaches always make sure I’m doing everything correctly.

What made you want to join Reverb?

I wanted to see what I could do. I wanted to get into a consistent routine and fix some health issues.  

What kind of changes have you seen?

I’ve been coming 3 months now. I’ve seen a huge difference in my body after working out and starting to eat better. My triceps are toned up, my stomach is less bloated, and I feel better when I wake up in the morning!

How else has it impacted your personal life?

I’m more social now, talking to more people and making more friends. It’s nice having a good community here so it’s changed my social life.

What would you tell someone interested but scared to get started?

You just have to do it! It’s easy to always put it off but sometimes you just have to make yourself go and you’ll end up enjoying it!

Leslie started out by completing her On Ramp sessions and trains in the group class. 

She has put in 43 group class attendances in her first 3 months, which is how she got great results for herself!

She used the nutritional guidance from her coaches and the Reverb Grocery Guide to make some good changes in the kitchen to get the most out of her training.
