Let’s hear about it from him!
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
Before I came to Reverb I was kind of on my own. I was running, but I didn’t have the consistency because I didn’t have the accountability of needing to be there at a certain time and having other people motivate and help you every step of the way.
What was the problem you wanted to solve that made you want to join Reverb?
My inconsistency. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and biking. I needed help with my overall fitness to help with my other joys.
I wanted to get over stronger, more flexible, and overall healthy.
What kind of changes have you seen?
I’ve been coming for almost a year now and I’ve seen a lot of changes in strength and especially endurance. My first workout I was breathing hard. Now I can push myself harder and lift more than I did a year ago.
How else has it impacted your personal life?
It’s something where I look forward to coming every day. You can’t say that about a lot of things. I actually get up and think I GET to go work out today!
Especially with nutrition, there’s a lot of noise online and everywhere else. The guidance here helped focus my nutrition on the task at hand – nutrition for what I’M doing here.
What would you tell someone interested but scared to get started?
The hardest part of walking through the door. Once you’re here, I’ve made a lot of good friends and every day I look forward to coming!
