At an age when many people are told to slow down, Judy decided to do the opposite.
In her 70s, she’s proof that strength, confidence, and joy in movement don’t have an expiration date—and that the right coaching and community can make all the difference.
Let’s hear it from her!
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
A regular gym and a few classes like pilates, yoga, zumba.
What was the problem you wanted to solve that made you want to join Reverb?
It got boring. It was lacking individual coaching on technique and continued progression over time.
What kind of changes have you seen?
I feel stronger and healthier. I’ve built strength and agility to go along with the flexibility I have from yoga.
It’s made everything easier. Hiking is easier, washing the car is easier. My goal was to stay fit for my age and this is above and beyond that!
How else has it impacted your personal life?
I walk into the gym and I’m totally focused on my workout so I can leave the rest of my outside stress behind. It’s a positive influence on my life that’s keeping me going.
I’m thrilled to be here and I actually WANT to come work out each time!
What is it about Reverb that has helped you?
The coaching is fantastic, the gym is beautiful, well-maintained, well-organized, and constantly being improved.
The people are great – all ages and all sizes. We’re the oldest ones in the place. Everyone gets modifications based on their limitations.
The coach led warm-ups and technique progressions before we do the workout itself are so helpful. The coaches pay attention to every person.
What would you tell someone interested but scared to get started?
All the questions you have will be answered, you won’t be left stranded.
I can’t say enough good things about it!
