
Gabriella was one of our members who recently completed the 6-week Clean & Lean Nutrition Challenge and saw great results from it!
Let’s hear about it from her!
What did you just finish?
I did the Reverb Clean & Lean 6 week challenge to improve my eating habits by focusing on eating whole foods.
By focusing on eating to fuel my body, I increased the protein I was getting, reduced snacking and sugar, and also increased my workouts.
We learned about food quality and the importance of eating real foods in their unprocessed forms.
How did it go?
I started getting into a daily routine where I was prioritizing high protein whole foods three times per day. If did have snacks, it was things like fruits and yogurt.
I feel stronger, I have more energy, my digestive health is better, and I have more stamina.
I’m down 8 pounds in 6 weeks!
My clothes are fitting looser and I feel more confident and comfortable.
What were some things about the challenge that helped you?
It was really great to be in a community during the challenge. Every day I would look in the app and read people’s posts. We really weren’t doing this alone.
I loved reading the posts and especially seeing that others were also dealing with challenges. One of the other members posted about having to walk back and forth past donuts in the office, and how avoiding them was a win. I really related to that one!
I also got to know more members through the challenge and now we have something in common when I see them in the gym! I didn’t realize how much I’d enjoy that part.
The daily 2-3 minute information in the app was also really helpful. It was great to be reminded and have that daily motivation each morning.
All of those things together helped me make changes and stick with them this time around.
With the challenge, and CrossFit Reverb in general, I love that everyone is working together but on their own specific goals. You’re always “competing against yourself”!
