Member Spotlight: Ryan
Ryan showed up for a No Sweat Intro meeting 4 months ago and decided to get started. He trains 3 times per week and he hasn’t really changed his nutrition yet. Let’s hear from him how it’s going!
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
I wasn’t doing too much, I was mostly doing a spin cycle bike at home and some dumbbells at home.
What was the problem you were trying to solve that brought you to Reverb?
I was feeling out of shape, we had our second kid so I had gotten out of my gym routine during covid and I just wasn’t in the shape I was used to being in, just feeling chubby and slow and low energy.
How long have you been coming and what changes have you seen?
I’ve been coming almost 4 months and I just found out I gained 5 pounds of muscle and lost 7 pounds of fat. I feel great, I feel much more fit, I’m sleeping better, I’ve gotten some compliments from some family members I haven’t seen in a while, and my energy is up. I feel a lot better on a day to day basis.
How else has it impacted your personal life?
I just feel better throughout the week. I really look forward to the 5am class. I’m very busy with work and family so to be able to come in for an hour at 5am and get an intense workout where I burn 600-800 calories per class on average, sometimes more, it’s just a great workout in a short period of time.
What would you tell someone new but scared to get started?
Don’t be scared, the people are friendly and they’re great teachers here. I think at any skill level you could come in and get a great workout.

Ryan’s plan for the next 3 months is to keep up the consistent training and make a couple small changes to nutrition to amplify his results. Great job Ryan!
