Bambi, 63, is back at Reverb after a couple years absence. She just had her 90-day Goal Review check-in where we assess your progress, see if you’re getting all the results you want, and update your training and nutrition plan if needed.
Let’s hear how her first 3 months back has been!
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
I did a little working out at the house, but it’s different. If you workout at home, the 30 minute workout takes 2 hours because you’re answering phone calls, you’re watching TV, and all the other distractions. But at the gym, you’re focused, and you’re working out with other people.
What was the problem you were trying to solve that brought you to Reverb?
I missed the community. I’m very regimented, I like the consistent schedule every day at the same time – I like the consistency.
How long have you been coming and what changes have you seen?
It’s been 3 months, and I feel a lot stronger and more confident this time. What I like the most is the confidence, now I know I can lift again. I just want to be here for as long as I can, I don’t want to stop coming here.
How else has it impacted your personal life?
I sleep better. I used to stay up later but now by 8:30 – 9pm I want to be in bed already. I have a clearer mind and I’m happy. Working out makes me so happy, I’m excited every morning. I think working out is very good for your mental health – makes you very happy.
What would you tell someone new but scared to get started?
I would tell her that you start at your own pace, no pressure, there’s a lot of friendly people who will support you, so come join us.

In her first 3 months back, Bambi has been training in the CrossFit group class 4-5 times per week and has added 2.7lbs of muscle, while at the same time dropping 4.4lbs body fat. Wow!!
We love having Bambi back and can’t wait to see what else she accomplishes while enjoying the process.
