
Linda B, 39, just had her 3-month check-in.
She gained 3.7 pounds of muscle WHILE dropping 6.6 pounds of body fat, for a 4% reduction in % body fat!!
More importantly, she’s loving the way she’s looking and feeling. Let’s hear about it from her:
What were you doing for fitness before Reverb?
I fell off the bandwagon for a couple years. Once in a while I would run, but I’ve been off my workout schedule for a couple years.
What was the problem you were trying to solve that made you want to join Reverb?
I had less energy and I just didn’t feel good about myself. Clothes didn’t fit right, if I even went up a flight of stairs I found myself having trouble. I used to do CrossFit back in the day; I said let me just try it and give it a shot.
How long have you been at Reverb and what kind of changes have you seen recently?
Going into my 4th month, so 3 months now, and I’ve seen drastic changes. I have more energy, maybe a little too much energy. I can see muscle definition and people are starting to tell me they can see the results. I feel stronger, I’m not out of breath when going up a flight of stairs.
I’ve seen over 100% change in 3 months so I’m really happy. You just feel good about yourself when you look in the mirror. I’m trying on clothes that I had in college and they’re starting to fit, which is really exciting!
How else has it impacted your personal life?
I think you’re just happier when you’re fit and in shape. It’s really true that it changes your whole mood. I’m not achy when I wake up, I’m excited, I want to do more things in the day. So it’s drastically impacted my life and those around me see that I’m happier in general.
What would you tell someone who is scared to get started?
I think a lot of people have this conception that whoever does CrossFit is super muscular and going into bodybuilding and whatnot. But it’s really just average people who want to look and feel good.
This is a long term goal. We’re thinking of our future, when we get older are we able to get up from the floor without any help. I even struggled with that in the beginning.
When my family gets scared when I say “CrossFit” they say “I can’t do CrossFit”, I tell them anybody can do CrossFit. They cater to your needs; they look at your skill level from the beginning and it’s really great to see your progress.
Dean and the other coaches work with you and check your progress after 3 months, and they help you with nutrition. It’s not just lifting weights, it’s really a full body workout. I think everybody should join, I encourage all my patients, all my family, to join. You have to try CrossFit, it changes your life!

Linda trains at Reverb 3 times per week.
