At Reverb, we know that eating clean and staying active are key to improving our fitness and achieving our goals. While we all understand the importance of these habits, it’s easy to put them off. But here’s the good news: you have the power to take control and make your fitness goals a reality! With the right mindset and accountability, you can stay on track and start making consistent progress one day at a time.
Here are 9 tips to boost self-accountability:
- Remember your ‘why’ – Stay connected to your personal reasons for change. Remember that each workout, each healthy meal, and each full night of sleep is one step closer to your goal.
- Track progress – Use a calendar to visually mark your consistency. Our workout tracking app includes a built-in attendance streak tracker. Can you top the leaderboard?
- Engage with the community – Connect with others for motivation. Get to know your peers who are on the same journey next to you and your coaches who love to see you win.
- Conduct quarterly reviews – Reassess goals with your coach. Our quarterly goal reviews are included with every Reverb membership and include nutritional assessment and body composition analysis.
- Set calendar reminders – Use technology to block out time on your calendar during your week for your training, meal prep, and getting to bed early enough.
- Go public – Share your goals verbally and/or on social media, and share progress updates.
- Take before and after photos – Visual progress keeps you motivated.
- Roll with the punches – Know ahead of time that you will have setbacks. Adapt and whatever happens, keep going.
- Reward yourself – Celebrate every small achievement to maintain motivation. We write daily wins on the whiteboard from every class and share our bright spots every week in our members groups.
With these strategies, you’ll turn motivation into lasting discipline, fostering long-term results.
It all starts with a No-Sweat Intro Meeting with a coach to map out your fitness goals and begin forging your future.
